Teochew is now in the Plateau! So exciting! The owner welcomed us with a big smile and gave us a little rundown of the shop. It’s got more space than the original location and they plan on adding more delicious products in the future! We stocked up on frozen wontons and frozen dim sum to enjoy throughout the week.

We LOVED this place! Especially the oyster pancake she recommends was soooo gooooood !!!! If you love seafoody flavors, definitely try it :) Freshly made dumplings are all over, ready to eat, and all taste awesome. And we loved the vibe, family business vibe! It’s not watered down non-authentic food. I feel so lucky that we found this place! Must go back when we back to Montreal.

Unbelievable on my last day in town found this store. Taste of home and got to talk mother tongue (Teochew dialect) with the lovely sis / owner. Hope I can get this tasty food back in Toronto. Vermicelli is fusion in a good way a must try for my every visit to Montreal

This place accomodates for all dietary restrictions: gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and they have options for pork, beef, and chicken as well. The best part of this family owned place is that they sell frozen wontons (at a very reasonable price especially considering each bag of wontons had about 30pieces) that you can very easily make at home. They sell all the steaming equipment and also have helpful youtube videos! The workers are kind and bilingual. I have eaten here many times and sadly they are discontinuing my favourite frozen dish (salty rice cakes), but they have so many options to choose from. Their food is nutritious and delicious! Definitely recommend buying frozen wontons to make at home, and if you were to eat here I recommend the oyster omelette, teochew vermicelli, and buddhist salad!! ***must get: chili oil

Delicious and authentic teochew food! The oyster omelet is a must try, we ended up ordering even more because it was so delicious. The summer dessert was incredible and one-of-a-kind! I enjoyed eating the noodles and wontons too, they were delicious and a great balance of acidity and savoury. I had a great time bringing my parents here and it sparked lovely conversations about our origin and cuisine. What a lovely family-run business and great way to support gaginang!

I'm a big fan of Teochew food . This shop offer many different tastes of handmade wonton. The wonton filling is very tight, and the filling is super full when you bite into it, and the ratio of skin to filling is just right. Just used with some drops of vegetable oil and a cube of chicken bouillon, water and a bunch of vegetable ,it will come out a delicious wonton soup.It is totally different with the "tissue wontons" you get in Chinatown. After eating wontons, you can drink the delicious soup, full of satisfaction!

Tiny little restaurant with a store inside. Staff was welcoming. Fried wonton was good but not great: I wish the texture inside would be more tender and juicy. It felt a bit dry. The black tea with lemon close to 5$ is definitely overpriced and nothing special. I would return still to try other food dishes though.
